First Official Single To Be Released Next Week; MHz Legacy Gives Fans Early Video Preview |
Earlier this month, MHz Legacy announced an October 30th release date for their forthcoming self-titled album. On the album, rapper's Copywrite, Tage Future, and Jakki Da Motamouth, along with in-house producer RJD2,
will finally deliver the long-awaited official group album that fans
have been waiting for since MHz first hit the scene in the late-'90s.
Influential member Camu Tao, who passed in 2008 away
following a battle with lung cancer, will also maintain a heavy presence
on the album, with a number of never-before-heard verses appearing on a
number of songs. MHz Legacy recently released the album's track list, and with it, unveiled an impressive list of guest rappers and producers that will be featured on the project – names like Danny Brown and Harry Fraud ("Spaceship"), Blu ("Yellow & Blue"), ILL BILL & Slaine ("Addictionary"), Slug of Atmosphere ("Satisfaction"), Oh No, Marco Polo, !llmind, and more. Next week, MHz Legacy will release the debut single and video from MHz Legacy, for the Surock-produced track "Gone." The crew was in Richmond, Virginia, last week to shoot the video, and while on location, video director R.M.L. was able to grab some lighthearted behind-the-scenes footage. From the looks of this clip, the video should be endlessly entertaining, as Copywrite, Tage Future, and the crew channel their inner-child, riding around in go carts, traversing the city by Segway, and even getting loose on a nearby moon bounce. |
