Afu-Ra burst on the scene in 1994 with an infamous appearance on Jeru The Damaja's now classic debut album, The Sun Rises In The East. Mental Stamina, and Afu-Ra's verse, circulated the underground... building his reputation for complex, conscious lyrics laden with the science of Rastafarianism which quickly gained him the respect of the true hip-hop heads of that era. It was certainly evident when his first album, Body Of The Life Force was released boasting features from the likes of GZA, M.O.P., Smif-N-Wessun, Masta Killa and Ky-Mani Marley. Also featuring production from DJ Premier, DJ Muggs, True Master, Da Beatminerz and more... The album was a critical success and became an underground classic.
Afu-Ra crashes into the Classic Storm Studio and allows our listeners an inside peak at the life he has led since the beginning of his fame... The countries and cities around the world he has rested in, the stages he has graced and the affiliates he has accrued along the way.
