DJ Toshi and Che Broadway are back once again with another installment of Classic Storm Radio on RadioHipHop.com and Chambermusik Radio via Live365.com. This week, we have an exclusive interview with the enigmatic Planet Asia.

Planet Asia, who is from Fresno, California, started releasing 12" singles in the late 90s via indie labels like Stones Throw and ABB Records. In teaming with Rasco to form Cali Agents, their collaborative album, How The West Was One, was honored by The Source Magazine as the Independent Album Of The Year. Following that success, Asia was then signed to Interscope Records, but ultimately did not release an album there. His debut solo album, The Grand Opening, was released via Avatar Records in 2003 to critical acclaim, even earning him another Indie Album Of The Year Award from The Source. His legacy continues with his latest venture, General Monks, a collaborative effort with Tristate of Gold Chain Military on his label Gold Chain Music. We take time to talk about the project, as well as Asia's thoughts on the inspiring words of the late, great Gil-Scott Heron.

Following the Planet Asia interview, the legendary Lord Digga strolls in to the Classic Storm Studio on his way film another segment for his autobiographical project, The Digga Chronicles on Roll Modelz TV. We talk a little bit about the Roll Model movement, his next release and his brother Sha Stimuli.
